Surgery for Mitchy!

When Mitch was around 3 months, we noticed a small mole on his right hand. Over time, this birth mark just kept growing and spreading. The Dermatologist recommended that it be removed just to be on the safe side and for cosmetic reasons, as well. Little Mitch went in for his surgery today and he did so good! He didn't even cry when he was wheeled into the operating room. He had to go under anethesia, which was a little scary. The hospital had lots of toys he could play with as we got him checked in. A side effect of the anesthesia is to wake up grumpy. Mitch was pretty upset when he woke up, but that all went away with a little ice cream in the cafeteria. When we got home, Mitch went right to sleep and took a 4 hour nap. He woke up happy and very accepting of his bandage that he'll need to wear for 2 weeks. He has been so good with his bandage and such a big boy. Now he is kissing his boo boo to make it feel better.

Mitch goes to Texas!

Mitch, Mommy and Mi'ma went to Dallas, Texas to visit family there. We stayed with Aunt Amy, Uncle Thomas and Mitch's 3 little cousins.... Jake, Nick and Zack! What a busy house it was. Mitch had so much fun playing, wrestling and tickling the boys he didn't know what to do with himself. Aunt Mindy is adding another boy to the group in May and we had a great time at her baby shower, as well. Mindy and Joey will name their baby Charlie. On our final day of the trip, we took all the boys to the zoo for some Monkeying Around. Mitch did really good on the airplane and sat on his Momma's lap like a precious boy. I was very proud of him. Next trip, he will definately be getting his own seat.....

Story Time at the Library!

We are going to Story Time at the QC Library now and Mitch is having lots of fun! Cameron and Aunt Jen go to enjoy with Mitch, as well. Mi'ma gets to take Mitch when Momma is working. The library is so cute inside with so much to see for little ones. The story time for Toddlers has music, too, and Mitch immediately gets up and starts dancing!

Eating Everything

Mitch has been using a spoon and fork now for quite some time, but today he mastered eating cereal with milk just like a big boy! He got to try some of Momma's cereal this week and wanted his own this morning. Mitchy is biting into whole strawberries and eating everything else he can get his hands on.
