Cousins Sleep Over!

Mitchy got to hang out with his cousins all weekend long and the boys had an absolute blast! Clint and Jen were out of town, so Mark and I were helping Mi'Ma babysit. It was a daycare weekend for sure. Both boys were crying when we had to say goodbye.

Carmen Miranda

Mitchy loves reading a book about Hats and one of the pages features Carmen Miranda. One night, I surprised him by wearing my Carmen Miranda hat and he couldn't believe his eyes and was so excited! Yes, I have a Carmen Miranda hat...... Now he asks to wear it all the time - look how cute he is!

Play Doh Never Goes Out of Style

Mitchy just got a HUGE tub of Play Doh this week and he thinks he just hit the jackpot. He is really learning his colors and having so much fun with it! I made a deal with him.... if you smile and look at the camera, Mommy will open another color of Play Doh. It actually worked and I got a good shot of the master artist at work.

The Bulling Campout in Holland, Michigan

We made a huge discovery on our trip to MI..... Mitchy is a CAMPER through and through. Grandma's side of the family has an annual campout with close to 40 people in Holland, MI on the lake. We rented a camper for our first experience and boy, did Mitch think that was cool. He had so much fun being outdoors, collecting pine cones, roasting marshmellows for S'Mores, socializing with the family and making them laugh. Spending time with Aunt Jen and Uncles Jeff and Craig was great, too. Mitch was so good in the camper and went right down for his naps and night night. We think the camper fan blowing so loud just put him right to sleep. Mitch got to relax in a hammock, hold a real fish, eat lots of ice cream and go blueberry picking!

He also had fun playing with cousins, Dane and Ty, and was pretty impressed with their helmets and bikes. When he first met Ty, he had ice cream all over his face. Mitch pointed to him and said, "Too Messy... wipe it up!" After wiping the ice cream from his face, Mitch gave him a big hug. It was hilarious!
