Mitch is making progress this year with his swimming...... thanks to his new floaties and a few swim lessons! He got a little nervous with lessons, but his mind was put to ease after a little bribing with a Snoopy Snow Cone Machine! That took the fear right away.

Mikayla's First Swim Party!
Mikayla got in her little tiny swimsuit for a swim day at Auny Jenny's house today! Little Cate just adores Mikayla and likes to feed her baby while Mikayla is having her bottle, too. The wild boys are all over the pool now with their floaties! So fun.
Soccer
Mitch is trying out soccer with his new neighbor friend, Cameron. They are really good buds now and it is so wonderful to have a little guy in the neighborhood Mitch's age. This session is 8 weeks long and Mitch is enjoying it, but he has informed me that he wants to do gymnastics again after soccer. He looks so cute in his little soccer outfit!

My Second Month!
This Sunday is Father's Day and Mikayla is 2 months old! Mikayla is out of her newborn clothes and fitting into size 3 now. She is still sleeping a ton during the day and doing pretty good at night, too. We have had some excellent sleep nights lately where she has gone 5-6 hours! It makes me laugh sometimes at 3am in the morning when she gets up for her bottle and gives me these huge smiles while I am half asleep. I can't help but giggle. She is smiling so much now and starting to really respond to talking and singing. Mitch is so sweet to her and just wants to give her love all the time. She also likes to play the stick out her tongue game with Daddy, who starting teaching her that. Now, she automatically sticks out her tongue when he holds her. Mark and I are trying to figure out a way to bottle up her baby smell so we will always remember how her freshly washed hair smells after her baths.

Happy 4th Birthday Mitchy!!
June 13th was a busy day for the birthday boy! He started the day with a huge pancake breakfast and then he was off to his 1st birthday party at Lauri's school. He got to make his own cupcakes and have a birthday celebration with his friends. Then, I picked him up after a "tiny nap" and we went to his 1st soccer practice with his neighbor friend, Cameron. He LOVED it and was super excited. After soccer, we came home for a family party and dinner at the house. The kids were really excited about the gummy bear cake I made for Mitch and all the fun toys he got to open.
After one day of rest, he was ready for his 3rd party at Flipside complete with Mini Bowling, Arcade, Blast Pad and Bumper Cars. Mitch was in heaven and had 8 friends come to his party. We love you Mitchy and can't believe you are already 4 years old. What a grown up boy you are!
